Jay Davern is available for training 7 days per week. All training both on court and off court can be tailored to your requests. Jay is a tennis sports scientist, a master of the analysis and correction of stroke production, footwork, court movement and in strategy and tactics. He teaches all students peak performance psychology techniques to dramatically improve mental focus and success.
Jay has been coaching for the past 14 years in Singapore and possesses over 30 years of extensive high-quality tennis coaching experience. The 1.78m Australian loves being on court teaching every level of player and inspiring a love of tennis to all ages.
Jay has completed a tennis-specific Bachelor Degree in Applied Exercise Sports Science from Victoria University in Australia. He is a fully qualified tennis coaching professional through Tennis Australia.
He was selected for and attended the Tennis Australia High Performance Coaching Course amongst Grand Slam tennis coaches. This course is the highest tennis industry tennis coaching course in Australia.
Jay was the Chief Tennis Instructional Writer for Australian Tennis Magazine before moving from Australia to Hong Kong. In each Australian Tennis Magazine publication issue he was commissioned to write his own 2-page column entitled “lessons from the pros”.
He gained invaluable experience via on court learning with ATP Tour and WTA highly successful Pro Tour coaches of the Top 10 players in his role as Official Coach and Video Match Analyst for the former ATP Tour pro tournament in Hong Kong: the Salem Open.
