3 years of past teaching experience, have taught primary school student for 2 years, worked at Mee Toh Primary School for half a year. Have taught English, Math, Science. 2 upper primary students managed to improve from 5/6 achievement levels to 2 achievement levels. Senior tutoring programme at my secondary school(Crescent Girls’ School) which I was a member of for a year. Currently have 11 tutees (St. Nicholas, Holy Innocents) ranging from Primary 1 to Secondary 5.
PSLE score of 247 with A* in Science. At Crescent Girls’ School, I was awarded an Excellence Award for outstanding performance. I achieved straight As for all subjects at O’ Levels with A1 in EMath, English and Pure Geography. I then moved on to Nanyang Junior College for my pre-university instituion. I am currently a NUS student double majoring in economics and entrepreneurship.
I am more of a patient and fun tutor, I have experience dealing with children who are extremely slow learners and am also able to keep pace with those who are fast. I am willing to work with the parents in any way possible to help their child achieve their academic goals.
I hope to offer student’s my services as a private tutor to directy benefit the tutee’s academia and also allow myself to step out of my comfort zone. Over the 3 years I have been tutoring, I have met many types of students, formed unique bonds, and I hope to do so for the foreseeable future.
