I am a French language tutor for students studying French as a foreign language. Tuition services will be charged at an hourly basis.
Our FIRST SESSION will serve as a means for me to evaluate the client's current levels of French fluency in areas such as reading, writing, listening, and speaking. I will also be asking questions regarding their attitude to the French language, culture, and teaching. If the client is also studying French at a formal learning establishment, I will look at the curriculum to see how I can compliment/support their regular learning. This initial session will be free of charge and will be a way for both myself and the client to decide whether or not to continue our French partnership.
A regular CLASS BREAKDOWN is as follows: a) an initial phase of conversation to practice 1 on 1 oral communication skills; b) dictation (blind or memorised) to practice listening and writing skills, as well as enhancing vocabulary; c) regular exercises based on fundamentals that need improving (grammar, conjugation, sentence structures, etc.); and d) a reading portion to wind-down the class and practice reading comprehension. This is an average model that can change depending on client's needs and wants.
Recent High School Graduate with an International Baccalaureate Bilingual Diploma. Received A* in IB French A Language and Literature. Hope to one day become a professional teacher.
