I major in English Literature in NTU. I am currently a year 2 student. I have a strong passion for teaching and love educating. The way in which I teach students is that I train them to think structurally and conceptually. This will prepare them to be able to be open minded for the different types of questions that may come up in exams. These skills are also useful in real life. They become analytical thinkers and will be able to look at something from differing perspectives.
I usually conduct my lessons online so that students will feel more comfortable in their own space and comfort. Further, it will be the best solution in this current covid situation.
To me, being a tutor is more than just teaching students their academic work but educating them about the relevant life skills that are useful for them. I hope students enjoy learning whilst adopting relevant skills to identify different perspectives.
