Tanuja started learning Hindustani classical vocal under Guru-Shishya parampara at an early age. She was fortunate to receive her early taleem under late Pt. Wamanrao Sadolikar and Mrs. Manjiri Alegaonkar of Jaipur-Atrauli Gharana. Her major part of learning journey has been under the guidance of Dr. Anuradha Garud practicing Gwalior Gayaki. Her path of learning is now enlightened by Mrs Apoorva Gokhale, helping understand the nuances of performance oriented gayaki. She is a experienced music teacher and has been working with students for past 10-12 years. Currently as music teacher at Swarangan she conducts basic to advanced vocal music classes for adults and children.
