How can I learn squash?

Once you have the basics down, you can start playing in tournaments at your local squash club or join a league/team. The best way to get better at squash is to simply play as much as possible and try to find someone who is better than you to play against on the court. Doing this will help push you to improve your skills and become the elite-level player you can be.

What does a squash coach do?

A squash coach is responsible for teaching players the game of squash and helping them improve their skills. They work with juniors, kids, and adults, and typically hold coaching sessions at a squash club or school.
Squash coaches need to be able to motivate and encourage their players, as well as identify their strengths and weaknesses. They should always be willing to answer any questions that players have, and be able to give feedback constructively. In addition to coaching sessions, squash coaches may also need to organize tournaments and leagues, and contact with other coaches and Singapore's clubs. They may also be required to write reports on player progress and give presentations to parents or school staff.

What is a WSF level squash coach?

A WSF level squash coach is a person who has been certified by the World Squash Federation to coach squash at the highest level. This person has usually been a professional squash player themselves, and has extensive knowledge of the game. They are able to teach all aspects of the game, from the basic rules to the advanced strategies.

There are four WSF levels for squash coaches:
WSF Level 1: Introduction to Squash Coaching
WSF Level 2: Intermediate Squash Coaching
WSF Level 3: Advanced Squash Coaching
WSF Level 4: Elite Squash Coaching
