I am a full time professional tutor specialising in teaching A level H2 Maths and Further Maths, O level A and E Maths. I have been teaching Mathematics to JC and secondary school students for more than 18 years. I conduct both one to one home tuition and group tuition. I also have taught at a tuition centre before. I am competent of teaching Cambridge 'A' level Maths and IB Maths. I had taught 'A' level C Maths and Further Maths from 1998 to 2006. After that I started teaching the new syllabus H2 Maths which involves the use of graphic calculator to solve certain questions. I also teach O level E Maths and A Maths.
I am also capable of teaching polytechnic engineering maths and statistics modules, university first year maths modules in calculus, multi-variable calculus, linear algebra, mathematical methods, differential equations, engineering maths etc.
I adopt a conceptual approach in teaching mathematics to students. I will explain clearly concepts and illustrate with examples to show students how to solve those questions. Then I will ask students to attempt questions on the spot. After every topic, i will give students revision exercise for that topic. I also have past year exam papers for students to do one month before their exam.
I want to be a tutor because I love to impart my knowledge to others and I love to inspire students and help them to excel in their school work. It gives me a great sense of satisfaction when students can finally understand what is taught in class after my lessons.
