Apart from >15 years teaching, I have at least 2 years of extensive experience teaching students online. This includes overseas students as well as my students who moved abroad with their parents and desired to continue their lessons with me online.
Whilst I have a good number of local school students, I specialise in international school students having had extensive experience tutoring students from Grade 5 - Grade 12 from the various international schools in Singapore. I also specialise in the critical grade levels - which in my opinion are Sec 3 - JC2 and Grade 9 - 12. The earlier grade levels are critical years because the leap in depth and difficulty is high as students progress to the higher grades. In my experience, many students are generally unprepared for that significant difference in expectations and struggle with the challenges.
My approach and methodologies are proven successes with many of my students who average improvement by 2 grades under my tutorship.
The subjects I specialise in are English, Advanced English, GP, Literature, Social Studies, History and Marketing.
Focus on quality not quantity, teaching students how to think and not just to do, to understand and not to just memorize.
