In addition to teaching from the textbooks, I use the past year questions to test the students' understanding every week. This helps both the students and me. The students can then expect to improve the areas where they feel difficulty in understanding the fundamentals. These tests then give me idea to restructure and modify my approach of teaching to cater to each student.
I have been a graduate tutor at NUS for the last 5 years and have thoroughly enjoyed the experience. In addition, for a year (2015-16) I taught junior and senior secondary and primary students Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. I welcome feedback and adapt to each student's requirements.
