Students can ask questions outside of scheduled lesson times via WhatsApp or email. Due to time differences, I usually respond within a few hours to 24 hours. I can provide brief explanations or answers to questions related to Japanese study and our lessons, depending on my availability.

Lessons are paid in advance. You can choose to pay for each lesson individually, multiple lessons at once, weekly, or monthly. Please complete payment by the day before the scheduled lesson.

I accept credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Wise.

Friends or family members can also join the same lesson for an additional $8 per person. If a participant is absent, the fee for that lesson will not be refunded.

My lessons generally follow four stages: review, learning new content, practice, and questions. However, the lesson structure and time allocation are adjusted according to each student’s level and goals.

I place a strong emphasis on output and active practice. Rather than spending most of the lesson listening to explanations, students are encouraged to think for themselves and actively use Japanese as much as possible. My goal is to give students plenty of opportunities to apply what they have learned in real communication.

All lessons are conducted online. I teach from Japan using Google Meet, so students can take lessons from anywhere with a stable internet connection. No physical classroom is required.

I provide practice materials when needed, including exercises from textbooks and worksheets that I create myself. Practice work is optional, and the amount can be adjusted according to each student’s preferences and learning goals. Materials are tailored to the student’s level and needs. I also review completed work and provide feedback when requested.

I provide progress updates to parents when needed. If requested, I can provide feedback after each lesson, including information about what was covered in the lesson and the student’s learning progress. I am also available to communicate with parents when necessary.

Refunds are available, with any applicable payment or transfer fees deducted from the refund amount. Cancellations made on the day of the lesson or after the lesson has started are non-refundable.

If you need to reschedule a lesson, you may do so at any time before the scheduled start time. The lesson can then be rescheduled within approximately one month from the original lesson date.

If I need to cancel or reschedule a lesson due to circumstances on my side, the lesson can be rescheduled without a time limit.

I place equal importance on both theory and practice. I explain grammar and other key concepts clearly, and then give students opportunities to apply what they have learned through speaking, exercises, and practical communication.

Because my lessons are one-to-one, I can adapt the pace and approach to each student. If a student learns quickly, we can move forward and explore more challenging material. If a student needs more time, I can slow down, explain the concept in a different way, and provide additional practice. My approach is flexible so that each student can learn at a pace and in a way that works best for them.

I use textbooks as the main basis for my lessons and supplement them with presentation slides to make explanations and practice easier to understand. Lessons are conducted online, mainly using Google Meet.
