Hi! I'm a student currently studying Business Studies in Ngee Ann Polytechnic. I'm very familiar with and updated about the O'Level syllabus. I'm also very friendly and patient, and will customise my teaching style and pace according to the needs and wants of my tutees! For example, if my tutee learns better with examples, I'll provide relevant and relatable examples and apply the concepts to them. If my tutee is a visual learner, I'll draw models and mind maps to illustrate how the concepts work and relate to one another.
When I teach Math (Elementary or Additional), I don't just make my tutees memorise the formulae (unless they are better off memorising); I'll help them understand the reasoning and concepts behind those formulae, so that even if the questions are tweaked, my tutees would still be able to solve them, because the concepts needed to be applied to solve the questions remain unchanged.
I'll make my lessons as engaging as possible. I'll ask my tutees questions frequently to test their understanding and adjust my teaching pace to suit their needs. Whenever suitable, I'll use anecdotes and interesting examples to illustrate my points.
