I majored in Physics and minored in Mathematics in NUS.
I taught Combined Sci (Phy) for 3 years while in service teaching at a neighbourhood school, and for many more years during private tutoring. I also have experience with Combined Sci (Chem), A and E Maths, so if you want tutoring in any combination of those subjects, you can just deal with me rather than separate tutors.
I am very familiar with the syllabus and common mistakes students make, and I use effective analogies to explain concepts, including Mathematics.
Other than subject content, I also focus on study techniques and exam strategies to help students optimize their performance.
So many things to learn, so little time. With all the pressure that students face, it is no wonder that many students forget about the joys of learning. I want to bring that joy back not just by teaching students about academic content, but also how to learn.
