Julius began his part-time tutoring journey by teaching English Grammar & Vocabulary for Indonesian adults working in Singapore. He's also involved in various teaching CCAs in his university time while still securing three separate scholarships over three consecutive years. Not only that he is a patient and kind soul, but he is also very passionate about children too, for he's been doing children's ministry in his church since his secondary time as well.
In terms of duration itself, Julius would suggest a min 1.5-hour session per week. Nevertheless, the actual tutoring duration can be flexible, according to the needs of the tutee and the season of school the tutee's experiencing. Furthermore, Julius is willing to add on more subjects depending on the parent's request.
For Julius, teaching is all about inspiring and guiding his students to never stop digging their great potential within. As an old proverb says, "Better than a thousand days of diligent study is one day with a great teacher," he has always strived to be that great teacher for all his students.
