I’ve started tutoring since 2019 when I entered university. Initially, I was only tutoring secondary level math and science. Last year during the pandemic, I ventured into primary level English, math and science after a parent contacted me to teach his son. Now, I teach both primary and secondary school students.
I believe in 1-to-1 tuition as shy students would be more at ease in clarifying their doubts. As compared to group tuition with 3-4 students, quieter students may hesitate from asking questions. This is coming from personal experience as I tried group tuition for a month back in secondary 3 before switching to private 1-to-1 as I felt more comfortable and that the tutor’s attention was 100% on me.

I am currently a year 3 undergraduate studying real estate in NUS. Having completed my O’s and A’s in 2016 and 2018 respectively, I am updated on the current MOE syllabus. I am also able to connect well with students and make learning fun due to the small age gap.
