I have started tutoring since my undergrad days. After graduating from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, I went on to pursue a Master of Arts at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, where I specialised in bamboo flute performance.
I’m currently a musician and educator for music and the academic subjects English, Math and Science.
My teaching style is student-centric, and lessons are paced according to the student’s needs and weaknesses. I believe that all students are unique, and that practice makes perfect.
With 18 years of teaching experience, I am also up-to-date with the syllabi and ICT tools. I can provide face-to-face lessons in the vicinity of Woodlands and at my studio at Lavender, and live virtual lessons through platforms like Zoom and Google Meet.
As a student, I remembered clearly the teachers who had influenced me for life, and I aspire to become one of them - a passionate and fun-loving individual dedicated to helping students.
