I have many years of tutoring experience in math and science. I am passionate in teaching as I love interacting with children and young adults. I find joy in being able to help them ace the subjects or simply just to help them to pass the subjects where they use to fail. I have taught many classes in a tuition center. I have countless private tutees since 2008 and produced several A* and many A students in PSLE Math and Science. I started private tuition more than 10 years ago through a parent who recommended my tuition service to her friend after her child benefited from my guidance in a tuition center. My main strength is in mathematics and science. I am currently teaching various level of math and science from secondary to lower primary. I have the experience in teaching mild autistic children. I am very experience in solving maths word problems and answering science questions. I will show my students how they should answer and reason in science so as to achieve the highest possible marks allocated for every question. In my many years of experience, I realize that most student learn in subjects such as math and science, through watching countless number of times how things are done. Understanding questions is essential to do well. A lot of effort is needed from the student. Besides these, the choice of assessment book also plays a part. Hence, a tutor has be be extremely patient and be able to repeat many times and find out what exactly is hindering the student from learning the rope. This method works for most of my student but requires time and the attention of the student. I believe that consistent practices and homework are essential in any subjects if a student wants to do well in.
