I’m Shawn Ong, a Bachelor’s degree graduate with honours in Classical Music and over 14 years of piano teaching experience, working with students from age 4 to 60. I use a variety of innovative teaching methods and unique practice strategies designed to help each student reach their fullest musical potential.

My approach focuses on helping students truly understand the patterns, shapes, and mechanics behind every note, chord, and harmony—rather than simply memorizing. This leads to deeper musicianship, stronger technique, and more enjoyable learning.

To date, 100% of my students have passed their ABRSM exams, with many earning merits and distinctions.
