Hi! Since 2009, I have been working with a team of good friends who are also passionate, qualified MOE teachers in Mathematics, Science and English. We learn best when we're having fun, so our students get to participate in quizzes and competitions, reflect, experiment, investigate and challenge one another during their learning. We keep our class sizes small (max 6) for more effective learning and monitoring.
Our systematic approach in the teaching and learning of Mathematics enables our students to develop a good mathematical sense with the flexibility and skills to solve challenging problems. Our students learn to adopt good practices such as reflective learning, highlighting keywords and drawing suitable arrows to connect ideas. They are encouraged to discuss their thinking on how they arrive at the solutions to their mathematical problems, and the difficulties they face. This allows me to understand the breadth and depth of their knowledge so I can tailor questions to reinforce concepts and strengthen the relationships between these concepts.
