I have had experience tutoring students for free before. Usually, I would focus on foundations in order to ensure students are clear of concepts examine by starting with simple questions to help them internalise the information. Moving forward, rigorous practices will be given where the difficulty level increases to expose students to higher-order thinking within each chapter and allow them to experience the different types of questions that may be tested. I will summarise the key phrases and concepts one needs to take note in each chapter too so as to ensure they achieve high scores in tests.
I am currently a Secondary 3 (as of 2020) student in River Valley High School (IP school that accepts top 10% of cohort). I scored straight A's in my recent EOYs and have a GPA of 3.96. I scored 3As and 1A* (Chinese) for PSLE and got distinction for Higher Chinese, attaining a T-score of 253.
